When architect Blanca Alegria invited us into her home, she wasn’t looking for ordinary. What began as a seemingly simple kitchen redesign soon revealed itself to be a precise and imaginative endeavour. At its heart stood an antique American wooden-door fridge, an heirloom with presence, demanding attention and ingenuity. Every modern element had to be carefully crafted around it, balancing form and function with millimetre-perfect precision.

The result? A truly creative collaboration where oriental motifs meet contemporary lines and where rustic textures blend effortlessly with modern convenience. This kitchen is a cultural mosaic, a space with heart and a testament to the beauty of designing without borders.
